  SA 2761. Mr. CORNYN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to 
amendment SA 2360 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill 
H.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. 
Res. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

        At the appropriate place, insert the following:

     SEC. ___. CLINTON WORK REQUIREMENTS FOR SNAP AND MEDICAID.

       (a) SNAP.--Section 6(o)(2) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 
     2008 (7 U.S.C. 2015(o)(2)) is

     amended by striking subparagraph (A) and inserting the 
     following:
       ``(A) engage in work as described in section 407(c) of the 
     Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 607(c));''.
       (b) Medicaid.--Section 1902(xx)(2) of the Social Security 
     Act (42 U.S.C. 1396a(xx)(2)), as added by section 71121(a), 
     is amended by striking subparagraphs (A) through (E) and 
     inserting the following:
       ``(A) The individual is engaged in work, as determined 
     under section 407(c).''.
