  SA 2749. Mr. LEE submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to 
amendment SA 2360 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill 
H.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. 
Res. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place in chapter 5 of subtitle A of 
     title VII, insert the following:

     SEC. 705__. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS RELATING TO ENERGY CREDITS.

       (a) Termination of Clean Hydrogen Production Credit.--
     Section 45V(c)(3)(C), as amended by the preceding provisions 
     of this Act, is amended to read as follows:
       ``(C) which is placed in service before January 1, 2028.''.
       (b) Termination of Carbon Oxide Sequestration Credit.--
     Section 45Q is amended by adding at the end the following new 
     subsection:
       ``(j) Termination.--This section shall not apply with 
     respect to any carbon capture equipment placed in service 
     after December 31, 2027.''.
