  SA 2723. Mr. KENNEDY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed 
by him to the bill H.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to 
title II of H. Con. Res. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as 
follows:

       Strike section 70120 and insert the following:

     SEC. 70120. PERMANENT EXTENSION OF LIMITATION ON INDIVIDUAL 
                   DEDUCTIONS FOR CERTAIN STATE AND LOCAL TAXES.

       Section 164(b)(6) is amended by striking ``, and before 
     January 1, 2026''.
