  SA 2609. Ms. CANTWELL (for herself and Mr. Durbin) submitted an 
amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 2360 proposed by Mr. 
Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill H.R. 1, to provide for 
reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14; which was 
ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       Strike section 40003(a)(2) and insert the following:
       (2) $3,000,000,000 for radar systems replacement, of which 
     not less than $150,000,000 shall be available to hire, train, 
     and recruit airway transportation system specialists that 
     support and repair air traffic control and navigation 
     systems;
