  SA 2522. Ms. ALSOBROOKS submitted an amendment intended to be 
proposed to amendment SA 2360 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Graham) to 
the bill H.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of 
H. Con. Res. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       Strike section 70436 and insert the following:

     SEC. 70436. ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR THE MEDICARE PART A TRUST 
                   FUND.

       In addition to amounts otherwise made available, there is 
     appropriated to the Federal Hospital Insurance Trust Fund 
     under section 1817 of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 
     1395i) for fiscal year 2025, out of any money in the Treasury 
     not otherwise appropriated, $1,700,000,000, to remain 
     available until expended.
