  SA 2504. Mr. WYDEN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the bill H.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title 
II of H. Con. Res. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as 
follows:

       At the appropriate place, insert the following:

     SEC. __. TERMINATION OF DUTIES IMPOSED PURSUANT TO EXECUTIVE 
                   ORDER 14257.

       Duties imposed pursuant to the national emergency declared 
     by Executive Order 14257 (90 Fed. Reg. 15041; relating to 
     regulating imports with a reciprocal tariff to rectify trade 
     practices that contribute to large and persistent annual 
     United States goods trade deficits) shall not apply with 
     respect to articles entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for 
     consumption, on or after the date that is 15 days after the 
     date of the enactment of this Act.
