  SA 2498. Mr. KIM submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the bill H.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title 
II of H. Con. Res. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as 
follows:

       At the appropriate place, insert the following:

     SEC. ___. APPROPRIATION TO INSPECTORS GENERAL TO INVESTIGATE 
                   CORRUPTION AND THE ABUSE OF POWER BY CERTAIN 
                   OFFICIALS.

       There is appropriated for fiscal year 2025, out of any 
     funds in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $10,000,000 
     to each office of an inspector general of an agency in the 
     executive branch of the Federal Government, to remain 
     available until expended, to investigate any conflicts of 
     interest, including conflicts of interest for special 
     government employees (as defined in section 202(a) of title 
     18, United States Code).
