  SA 2497. Mr. KIM (for himself, Mr. Schiff, and Mr. Peters) submitted 
an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 1, to 
provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14; 
which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place, insert the following:

     SEC. ____. FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY APPROPRIATION.

       In addition to amounts otherwise made available, there is 
     appropriated to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for 
     fiscal year 2025, out of any money in the Treasury not 
     otherwise appropriated, $12,000,000,000, to remain available 
     until September 30, 2026, to carry out the purposes of the 
     Disaster Relief Fund for costs associated with major disaster 
     declarations.
