  SA 2387. Ms. HIRONO submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to

amendment SA 2360 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill 
H.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. 
Res. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       In section 90001, strike ``$46,550,000,000'' and insert 
     ``16,550,000,000''.
       At the end of subtitle B of title IX, insert the following:

     SEC. 901__. RURAL MAIL SERVICE.

       In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is 
     appropriated to the United States Postal Service 
     $30,000,000,000 for expenses to maintain rural mail service, 
     to remain available for 10 years.
