  SA 2356. Mr. CRUZ submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by

him to the joint resolution S.J. Res. 59, to direct the removal of 
United States Armed Forces from hostilities against the Islamic 
Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress; which was 
referred to the Committee on Foreign Relations; as follows:

       On page 2, between lines 14 and 15, insert the following:
       (5) Members of the United States Armed Forces and 
     intelligence community, and all those involved in the 
     planning and successful execution of Operation Midnight 
     Hammer on June 21, 2025, including President Donald J. Trump, 
     should be commended for their efforts in a successful 
     mission.
       On page 2, line 15, strike ``(5)'' and insert ``(6)''.
       On page 2, line 21, strike ``(6)'' and insert ``(7)''.
