  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Pursuant to rule XXII, the Chair lays before 
the Senate the pending cloture motion, which the clerk will state.

       We, the undersigned Senators, in accordance with the 
     provisions of rule XXII of the Standing Rules of the Senate, 
     do hereby move to bring to a close debate on the nomination 
     of Executive Calendar No. 130, Rodney

     Scott, of Oklahoma, to be Commissioner of U.S. Customs and 
     Border Protection, Department of Homeland Security.
         John Thune, Pete Ricketts, Bill Hagerty, Tim Scott of 
           South Carolina, Roger F. Wicker, John R. Curtis, Cindy 
           Hyde-Smith, Bernie Moreno, Katie Boyd Britt, Mike Lee, 
           Mike Rounds, Deb Fischer, Steve Daines, Rick Scott of 
           Florida, James Lankford, Jon A. Husted, Ted Cruz.

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Under the previous order, the mandatory quorum 
call under rule XXII has been waived.
  The question is, Is it the sense of the Senate that debate on the 
nomination of Rodney Scott, of Oklahoma, to be Commissioner of U.S. 
Customs and Border Protection, Department of Homeland Security, shall 
be brought to a close?
  The yeas and nays are mandatory under the rule.
