            CELEBRATING WALTER P. GORLEWSKI'S 100TH BIRTHDAY

(Mr. TIFFANY asked and was given permission to address the House for
1 minute.)
Mr. TIFFANY. Mr. Speaker, I rise to celebrate Walter Gorlewski's
100th birthday on June 28. He resides in Eagle River, Wisconsin. I
honor his remarkable life and express gratitude for his courageous
service in the United States Army with Patton's Third Division in the
European-Middle Eastern Theater during World War II.
This theater played a critical role in diverting German strength and
controlling important supply routes, ultimately leading to allied
victory.
For his acts of valor, Walter was awarded four Bronze Battle Stars,
three Overseas Service Bars, and a Good Conduct Medal.
Mr. Speaker, I wish Walter a happy 100th birthday and thank him for
his service.
