FIX OUR FORESTS ACT
Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry: Committee concluded 
a hearing to examine S. 1462, to improve forest management activities 
on National Forest System land, public land under the jurisdiction of 
the Bureau of Land Management, and Tribal land to return resilience to 
overgrown, fire-prone forested land, after receiving testimony from 
Chris French, Acting Associate Chief, Forest Service, Department of 
Agriculture.
APPROPRIATIONS: LOC AND AOC
Committee on Appropriations: Subcommittee on Legislative Branch 
concluded a hearing to examine proposed budget estimates for fiscal 
year 2026 for Library of Congress and the Architect of the Capitol, 
after receiving testimony from Thomas E. Austin, Architect of the 
Capitol; and Carla Hayden, Librarian of Congress.
APPROPRIATIONS: DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE

concluded a hearing to examine proposed budget estimates for fiscal 
year 2026 for the Department of Agriculture, after receiving testimony 
from Brooke L. Rollins, Secretary of Agriculture.

Committee on Armed Services: Committee concluded a hearing to examine 
the nominations of Anthony Tata, of Florida, to be Under Secretary for 
Personnel and Readiness, who was introduced by Senators Tillis and 
Sullivan, and Katherine Sutton, of Illinois, to be an Assistant 
Secretary, who was introduced by Senator Rounds, both of the Department 
of Defense, after the nominees testified and answered questions in 
their own behalf.
BUSINESS MEETING
Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs: Committee ordered 
favorably reported the nominations of Andrew Hughes, of Texas, to be 
Deputy Secretary, and David Woll, of Virginia, to be General Counsel, 
both of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Michelle 
Bowman, of Kansas, to be Vice Chairman for Supervision of the Board of 
Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years, John 
Hurley, of California, to be Under Secretary for Terrorism and 
Financial Crimes, Department of the Treasury, and David Fogel, of 
Connecticut, to be Assistant Secretary and Director General of the 
United States and Foreign Commercial Service, and Landon Heid, of 
Missouri, to be an Assistant Secretary, both of the Department of 
Commerce.
SPORTS STREAMING
Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation: Committee concluded 
a hearing to examine field of streams, focusing on the new channel 
guide for sports fans, after receiving testimony from Kenny Gersh, 
Major League Baseball, William Koenig, National Basketball Association,
