                    STOPPING IRANIAN PUPPET HOUTHIS

  (Mr. WILSON of South Carolina asked and was given permission to 
address the House for 1 minute and to revise and extend his remarks.)
  Mr. WILSON of South Carolina. Mr. Speaker, the Houthi rebels are 
still a murderous puppet of Iran, the foremost state sponsor of 
terrorism in the world.
  After the December collapse of the murderous Assad regime in Syria, 
when he fled to Moscow, the Tehran regime retains two conspirators, 
Yemen and Iraq, both supported by terrorist militias armed by war 
criminal Putin.
  Sadly, Houthi terrorists have been gaining ground in Yemen and are 
possibly taking over oilfields which would provide them resources to 
support terrorism. The Houthi rebels are armed by war criminal Putin 
and will be stopped.
  Mr. Speaker, I am grateful that just days after President Donald 
Trump took office, he designated the Houthis as a foreign terrorist 
organization, as Houthis have attacked American ships. I am encouraged 
that the Trump administration is working with our regional partners, 
Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman, to stop Houthi 
aggression.
  In conclusion, God bless our troops as the global war on terrorism 
continues. Open borders for dictators put all Americans at risk of more 
9/11 attacks imminent as warned by the FBI. Trump is reinstituting 
existing laws to protect American families with peace through strength.
