  SA 1595. Mr. PADILLA submitted an amendment intended to be proposed 
by him to the concurrent resolution H. Con. Res. 14, establishing the 
congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 
2025 and setting forth the appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal 
years 2026 through 2034; which was ordered to lie on the table; as 
follows:

       At the appropriate place, add the following:

     SEC. ___. CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET OFFICE REPORT.

       Not later than 90 days after the date on which this 
     concurrent resolution is agreed to, the Director of the 
     Congressional Budget Office shall submit to Congress a 
     report--
       (1) on the impact that the tariffs imposed by President 
     Donald Trump would have on the economy, the cost of consumer 
     goods, and inflation; and
       (2) that includes an estimate of the cost of such tariffs 
     to the people of the United States, disaggregated by income 
     bracket.
