EXPRESSING THE SUPPORT OF THE SENATE FOR THE DESIGNATION OF OCTOBER 23,
2024, AS PUBLIC RADIO MUSIC DAY
Mr. HELMY. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the
Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation be discharged from
further consideration and the Senate now proceed to the immediate
consideration of S. Res. 865.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
The legislative clerk read as follows:
A resolution (S. Res. 865) expressing the support of the
Senate for the designation of October 23, 2024, as ``Public
Radio Music Day'' and deep appreciation for the role of
public radio music stations in serving listeners, musicians,
and hundreds of communities in the United States.
There being no objection, the committee was discharged, and the
Senate proceeded to consider the resolution.
Mr. HELMY. Madam President, I know of no further debate on the
resolution.

If not, the question is on adopting to the resolution.
The resolution (S. Res. 865) was agreed to.
Mr. HELMY. I ask unanimous consent that the preamble be agreed to and
that the motions to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the
table with no intervening action or debate.
