                        SCHEDULING ANNOUNCEMENT

  (Mr. SCALISE asked and was given permission to address the House for 
1 minute.)
  Mr. SCALISE. Mr. Speaker, Members are advised that upon completion of 
our scheduled legislative business, votes are no longer expected in the 
House on Thursday, September 26th, and Friday, September 27th. The last 
votes for the week and the month are now expected to take place 
tomorrow evening. We expect Members will be able to walk off the floor 
tomorrow at approximately 6:45 p.m. This is a change from the 
previously announced schedule.
