AUTISM COLLABORATION, ACCOUNTABILITY, RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND SUPPORT
ACT OF 2024
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to clause 8 of rule XX, the
unfinished business is the vote on the motion to suspend the rules and
pass the bill (H.R. 7213) to amend the Public Health Service Act to
[enhance activities of the National Institutes of Health with respect
to research on autism spectrum disorder and enhance programs relating
to autism / reauthorize certain programs with respect to autism
spectrum disorder?], and for other purposes, as amended, on which the
yeas and nays were ordered.
The Clerk read the title of the bill.
The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the
gentlewoman from Washington (Mrs. Rodgers) that the House suspend the
rules and pass the bill, as amended.

The result of the vote was announced as above recorded.
The title of the bill was amended so as to read: ``A bill to amend
the Public Health Service Act to enhance and reauthorize activities and
programs relating to autism spectrum disorder, and for other
purposes.''.
A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
PERSONAL EXPLANATION
Mr. ROUZER. Mr. Speaker, I was unavoidably detained and therefore
missed two votes. Had I been present, I would have voted YEA on Roll
Call No. 424 and YEA on Roll Call No. 422.
