amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 4638, to 
authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2025 for military activities 
of the Department of

Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the 
Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for 
such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on 
the table; as follows:

       On page 84, line 25, insert ``the Department of Defense'' 
     after ``viability of''.
       On page 85, line 2, insert ``by Department of Defense 
     operations'' after ``signals''.
       On page 86, line 14, insert ``, the Committee on Commerce, 
     Science, and Transportation of the Senate, and the Committee 
     on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives'' 
     after ``committees''.
