  SA 2827. Mr. ROUNDS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the bill S. 4638, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 
2025 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military 
construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, 
to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for 
other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place in title XVI, insert the 
     following:

     SEC. ___. MODIFICATION REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR SENIOR 
                   MILITARY ADVISOR FOR CYBER POLICY AND DEPUTY 
                   PRINCIPAL CYBER ADVISOR.

       Section 392a(b) of title 10, United States Code, is 
     amended--
       (1) in paragraph (2)--
       (A) in subparagraph (A)(i), by striking ``the Under 
     Secretary of Defense for Policy'' and inserting ``the 
     Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber Policy''; and
       (B) in subparagraph (B), by striking ``, the following:'' 
     and all that follows through the period at the end and 
     inserting ``the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber 
     Policy''; and
       (2) in paragraph (3)(A)--
       (A) in clause (ii), by striking ``Under Secretary'' and 
     inserting ``Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber 
     Policy'';
       (B) in clause (iii), by striking ``Under Secretary of 
     Defense for Policy'' and inserting ``Assistant Secretary of 
     Defense for Cyber Policy''; and
       (C) in clause (iv), by inserting ``of Defense for Policy'' 
     after ``Under Secretary''.
