NATIONAL ANTI-COUNTERFEITING AND CONSUMER EDUCATION AND AWARENESS MONTH
Mr. SCHUMER. I ask unanimous consent that the Committee on the
Judiciary be discharged from further consideration and the Senate now
proceed to the consideration of S. Res. 736.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A resolution (S. Res. 736) recognizing the importance of
trademarks in the economy and the role of trademarks in
protecting consumer safety, by designating the month of July
as ``National Anti-Counterfeiting and Consumer Education and
Awareness Month''.
There being no objection, the committee was discharged, and the
Senate proceeded to consider the resolution.
Mr. SCHUMER. I ask unanimous consent that the resolution be agreed
to, the preamble be agreed to, and that the motions to reconsider be
considered made and laid upon the table with no intervening action or
debate.
