                            VOTE EXPLANATION

  Mr. BLUMENTHAL. Mr. President, on June 3, 2024, I was unable to cast 
a vote on rollcall vote No. 183, the motion to invoke cloture on the 
nomination of Christopher T. Hanson, of Michigan, to be a Member of the 
Nuclear Regulatory Commission for the term of five years expiring June 
30, 2029.
  Had I been present, I would have voted yes to proceed with his 
nomination as a member of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
