MILITARY CONSTRUCTION, VETERANS AFFAIRS, AND RELATED AGENCIES
APPROPRIATIONS ACT, 2025
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to House Resolution 1269 and rule
XVIII, the Chair declares the House in the Committee of the Whole House
on the state of the Union for the further consideration of the bill,
H.R. 8580.

In the Committee of the Whole
Accordingly, the House resolved itself into the Committee of the
Whole House on the state of the Union for the further consideration of
the bill (H.R. 8580) making appropriations for military construction,
the Department of Veterans Affairs, and related agencies for the fiscal
year ending September 30, 2025, and for other purposes, with Mr. Weber
of Texas (Acting Chair) in the chair.

The Acting CHAIR. When the Committee of the Whole rose earlier today,
amendment No. 46 printed in part B of House Report 118-535 offered by
the gentleman from Florida (Mr. Steube) had been disposed of.

The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to clause 6 of rule XVIII, proceedings
will now resume on those amendments printed in part B of House Report
118-535 on which further proceedings were postponed, in the following
order:
Amendment No. 43 by Mr. Schweikert of Arizona.
Amendment No. 44 by Mr. Schweikert of Arizona.
Amendment No. 45 by Mr. Steube of Florida.
