AUTHORIZING THE USE OF EMANCIPATION HALL IN THE CAPITOL VISITOR CENTER 
      FOR AN EVENT TO CELEBRATE THE BIRTHDAY OF KING KAMEHAMEHA I

  Mr. STEIL. Mr. Speaker, I ask unanimous consent to take from the 
Speaker's table the concurrent resolution (S. Con. Res. 36) authorizing 
the use of Emancipation Hall in the Capitol Visitor Center for an event 
to celebrate the birthday of King Kamehameha I and ask for its 
immediate consideration in the House.
  The Clerk read the title of the concurrent resolution.
  The SPEAKER pro tempore. Is there objection to the request of the 
gentleman from Wisconsin?
  There was no objection.
  The text of the concurrent resolution is as follows:

                            S. Con. Res. 36

       Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives 
     concurring),

     SECTION 1. USE OF EMANCIPATION HALL FOR EVENT TO CELEBRATE 
                   BIRTHDAY OF KING KAMEHAMEHA I.

       (a) Authorization.--Emancipation Hall in the Capitol 
     Visitor Center is authorized to be used on June 16, 2024, for 
     an event to celebrate the birthday of King Kamehameha I.
       (b) Preparations.--Physical preparations for the conduct of 
     the event described in subsection (a) shall be carried out in 
     accordance with such conditions as may be prescribed by the 
     Architect of the Capitol.

  The concurrent resolution was concurred in.
  A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
