FOURTH AMENDMENT IS NOT FOR SALE ACT
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to House Resolution 1149 and rule
XVIII, the Chair declares the House in the Committee of the Whole House
on the state of the Union for the further consideration of the bill,
H.R. 4639.

Accordingly, the House resolved itself into the Committee of the
Whole House on the state of the Union for the further consideration of
the bill (H.R. 4639) to amend section 2702 of title 18, United States
Code, to prevent law enforcement and intelligence agencies from
obtaining subscriber or customer records in exchange for anything of
value, to address communications and records in the possession of
intermediary internet service providers, and for other purposes, with
Mr. Ellzey in the chair.

today, a request for a recorded vote on amendment No. 3 printed in
House Report 118-464 offered by the gentleman of New York (Mr. LaLota)
had been postponed.

Accordingly, the Committee rose; and the Speaker pro tempore (Mr.
Ellzey) having assumed the chair, Ms. Maloy, Acting Chair of the
Committee of the Whole House on the state of the Union, reported that
that Committee, having had under consideration the bill (H.R. 4639) to
amend section 2702 of title 18, United States Code, to prevent law
enforcement and intelligence agencies from obtaining subscriber or
customer records in exchange for anything of value, to address
communications and records in the possession of intermediary internet
service providers, and for other purposes, and, pursuant to House
Resolution 1149, she reported the bill back to the House with sundry
amendments adopted in the Committee of the Whole.
