PROTECTING AMERICANS' DATA FROM FOREIGN ADVERSARIES ACT OF 2024
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to clause 8 of rule XX, the
unfinished business is the vote on the motion to suspend the rules and
pass the bill (H.R. 7520) to prohibit data brokers from transferring
sensitive data of United States individuals to foreign adversaries, and
for other purposes, as amended, on which the yeas and nays were
ordered.
The Clerk read the title of the bill.
The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the
gentlewoman from Washington (Mrs. Rodgers) that the House suspend the
rules and pass the bill, as amended.

the bill, as amended, was passed.
The result of the vote was announced as above recorded.
The title of the bill was amended so as to read: ``A bill to prohibit
data brokers from transferring personally identifiable sensitive data
of United States individuals to foreign adversaries, and for other
purposes.''.
A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
PERSONAL EXPLANATION
Mr. STANTON. Mr. Speaker, I was necessarily absent and missed three
votes on the House Floor. Had I been present, I would have voted
``nay'' on rollcall No. 89, Motion on Ordering the Previous Question on
H. Res. 1085. ``no'' on rollcall No. 90, H. Res. 1085 and ``yea'' on
rollcall No. 91, H.R. 7520.
