                AIRPORT AND AIRWAY EXTENSION ACT OF 2024

  Mr. WHITEHOUSE. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the 
Senate proceed to the immediate consideration of H.R. 7454, which was 
received from the House and is at the desk.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the bill by title.
  The legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 7454) to amend title 49, United States Code, 
     to extend authorizations for the airport improvement program, 
     to amend the

     Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to extend the funding and 
     expenditure authority of the Airport and Airway Trust Fund, 
     and for other purposes.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
  Mr. WHITEHOUSE. I further ask that the bill be considered read a 
third time and passed, and the motion to reconsider be considered made 
and laid upon the table with no intervening action or debate.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
