  SA 1617. Mr. CRUZ submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the bill H.R. 4366, making appropriations for military 
construction, the Department of Veterans Affairs,

and related agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, and 
for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place in title VII of division B, insert 
     the following:
       Sec. 7__.  In addition to amounts otherwise available, 
     there is appropriated $75,000,000 to the Farm Service Agency 
     to make livestock indemnity payments under section 1501(b) of 
     the Agricultural Act of 2014 (7 U.S.C. 9081(b)) to eligible 
     producers that have incurred eligible losses due to wildfires 
     occurring in calendar year 2024.
