The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to House Resolution 891 and rule
XVIII, the Chair declares the House in the Committee of the Whole House
on the state of the Union for the further consideration of the bill,
H.R. 5961.

Accordingly, the House resolved itself into the Committee of the
Whole

House on the state of the Union for the further consideration of the
bill (H.R. 5961) to freeze certain Iranian funds involved in the 2023
hostage deal between the United States and Iran, and for other
purposes, with Mr. Steube (Acting Chair) in the chair.

amendment No. 12, offered by the gentleman from Illinois (Mr. Jackson)
had been postponed.

The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to clause 6 of rule XVIII, proceedings
