ROSA PARKS FEDERAL BUILDING
Mr. SCHUMER. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate
proceed to the immediate consideration of Calendar No. 176, S. 1278.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the bill by title.
The legislative clerk read as follows:
A bill (S. 1278) to designate the Federal building located
at 985 Michigan Avenue in Detroit, Michigan, as the ``Rosa
Parks Federal Building'', and for other purposes.
There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill,
which had been reported from the Committee on Environment and Public
Works.
Mr. SCHUMER. I further ask that the bill be considered read a third
time and passed and the motion to reconsider be considered made and
laid upon the table with no intervening action or debate.

was read the third time, and passed, as follows:

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of
the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. ROSA PARKS FEDERAL BUILDING.
(a) Designation.--The Federal building located at 985
Michigan Avenue in Detroit, Michigan, shall be known and
designated as the ``Rosa Parks Federal Building''.
(b) References.--Any reference in a law, map, regulation,
document, paper, or other record of the United States to the
Federal building referred to in subsection (a) shall be
deemed to be a reference to the ``Rosa Parks Federal
Building''.
(c) Repeals.--
(1) Public Law 109-98 (119 Stat. 2168) is repealed.
(2) Sections 1 and 2 of Public Law 109-101 (119 Stat. 2171)
are repealed.
