HONORING THE DISTINGUISHED SERVICE OF CAPTAIN SAMUEL FARMER OF THE
UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS AND THE MARINES AND SAILORS OF 1ST PLATOON,
COMPANY G, 2ND BATTALION, 1ST MARINE REGIMENT
Mr. WHITEHOUSE. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the
Senate proceed to the consideration of S. Res. 457, submitted earlier
today.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will read the resolution by title.
The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A resolution (S. Res. 457) honoring the distinguished
service of Captain Samuel Farmer of the United States Marine
Corps and the Marines and sailors of 1st Platoon, Company G,
2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment.
There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the
resolution.
