ORDERS FOR MONDAY, OCTOBER, 23, 2023, THROUGH TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2023

  Mrs. MURRAY. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the 
Senate completes its business today, it stand adjourned until 12 noon 
on Monday, October 23, for a pro forma session only, with no business 
conducted; that when the Senate adjourns on Monday, it next convene at 
10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 24; that following the prayer and pledge, 
the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be 
deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for later in 
the day, and morning business be closed; that upon the conclusion of 
morning business, the Senate proceed to executive session and resume 
consideration of the Whitaker nomination; that the Senate recess from 
12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings; 
that the cloture motions filed during today's session ripen at 2:15 
p.m.; and, finally, that if any nominations are confirmed during 
Tuesday's session, the motions to reconsider be considered made and 
laid upon the table and the President be immediately notified of the 
Senate's action.
