 ORDERS FOR FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2023 THROUGH TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26,

  Mr. SCHUMER. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the 
Senate completes its business today, it stand adjourned to convene for 
a pro forma session, with no business being conducted, at 10 a.m. on 
Friday, September 22, 2023, and then that the Senate stand in recess 
until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26; that on Tuesday, following the 
prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the 
morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be 
reserved for their use later in the day, and morning business be 
closed; that upon the conclusion of morning business, the Senate resume 
consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar No. 211, H.R. 3935; 
further, that the cloture motion filed during today's session ripen at 
5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
