  SA 1230. Mr. SCHUMER proposed an amendment to the bill H.R. 4366, 
making appropriations for military construction, the Department of 
Veterans Affairs, and related agencies for the fiscal year ending 
September 30, 2024, and for other purposes; as follows:

       At the end of division C, add the following:

     SEC. 422. EFFECTIVE DATE.

       This Act shall take effect on the date that is 9 days after 
     the date of enactment of this Act.
