  SA 1218. Mr. BENNET submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to 
amendment SA 1092 proposed by Mrs. Murray (for herself and Ms. Collins) 
to the bill H.R. 4366, making appropriations for military construction, 
the Department of Veterans Affairs, and related agencies for the fiscal 
year ending September 30, 2024, and for other purposes; which was 
ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

        At the appropriate place in division B, insert the 
     following:

     SEC. ___. PILOT PROGRAM FOR STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN CHILD 
                   AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM.

       Using $10,000,000 of the discretionary funds of the Office 
     of the Secretary of Agriculture, the Secretary of Agriculture 
     shall establish a pilot program to provide remote delivery of 
     school meals to students eligible for free or reduced price 
     meals under the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act 
     (42 U.S.C. 1751 et seq.) or the summer food service program 
     under section 13 of that Act (42 U.S.C. 1761) as part of the 
     child and adult care food program under section 17 of that 
     Act (42 U.S.C. 1766).
