combat operations.
She has served across the country and worldwide in various leadership
roles and has received numerous awards and decorations including the
Legion of Merit (2OLC), the Bronze Star Medal (1OLC), the Defense
Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLC), the
Joint Service Commendation Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal (1
OLC) among many others.
Command Sgt. Major Tammy M. Everette is doing tremendous work to
develop and provide holistic, effective, and pedagogically sound
education to further advance military excellence. It is my distinct
privilege today to celebrate her military service to our country and
welcome her in her new role as 24th Commandant of the NCO Leadership
Center of Excellence and Sergeants Major Academy.
