    EXPRESSING THE SENSE OF CONGRESS SUPPORTING THE STATE OF ISRAEL

  Mr. SCHUMER. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the 
Committee on Foreign Relations be discharged from further consideration 
and the Senate now proceed to H. Con. Res. 57.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER (Ms. Smith). The clerk will report the 
concurrent resolution by title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A concurrent resolution (H. Con. Res. 57) expressing the 
     sense of Congress supporting the State of Israel.

  There being no objection, the committee was discharged, and the 
Senate proceeded to consider the concurrent resolution.
  Mr. SCHUMER. I ask unanimous consent that the concurrent resolution 
be agreed to and the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid 
upon the table.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The concurrent resolution (H. Con. Res. 57) was agreed to.
