                         JUDICIARY ACT OF 2023

  Mr. MARKEY. Mr. President, due to a regrettable clerical error, 
Senators Smith and Warren were not added as original cosponsors of S. 
1616, the Judiciary Act of 2023, when I introduced the bill on May 16, 
2023. I wish to clarify that Senators Smith and Warren are indeed 
original cosponsors of this important legislation and have been 
committed partners in this work. I thank them for their leadership and 
partnership in restoring confidence in the Nation's highest Court.
