250TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS COMMEMORATIVE COIN 
                                  ACT

  Mr. SCHUMER. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the immediate consideration of H.R. 1096, which was received 
from the House and is at the desk.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the bill by title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 1096) to require the Secretary of the Treasury 
     to mint coins in commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of 
     the United States Marine Corps, and to support programs at 
     the Marine Corps Heritage Center.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
  Mr. SCHUMER. Mr. President, I ask further that the bill be considered 
read a third time and passed and that the motion to reconsider be 
considered made and laid upon the table with no intervening action or 
debate.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
