CALLING FOR THE IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF EVAN GERSHKOVICH, A UNITED STATES
CITIZEN AND JOURNALIST, WHO WAS WRONGFULLY DETAINED BY THE GOVERNMENT
OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN MARCH 2023
The SPEAKER pro tempore. The unfinished business is the vote on the
motion to suspend the rules and agree to the resolution (H. Res. 377)
calling for the immediate release of Evan Gershkovich, a United States
citizen and journalist, who was wrongfully detained by the Government
of the Russian Federation in March 2023, as amended.
The Clerk read the title of the resolution.
The question was taken; and the Speaker pro tempore announced that
the ayes appeared to have it.
