  EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO AND SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLE OF 
 TURKIYE AND SYRIA FOLLOWING THE DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKE ON FEBRUARY 6, 
                                  2023

  Mr. SCHUMER. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the 
Committee on Foreign Relations be discharged from further consideration 
and the Senate now proceed to S. Res. 76.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The clerk will report the resolution by title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 76) expressing deepest condolences to 
     and solidarity with the people of Turkiye and Syria following 
     the devastating earthquake on February 6, 2023.

  There being no objection, the committee was discharged, and the 
Senate proceeded to consider the resolution.

resolution be agreed to, the preamble be agreed to, and the motions to 
reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table.
