                    AUTHORITY FOR COMMITTEES TO MEET

  Mr. BOOKER. Madam President, I have 17 requests for committees to 
meet during today's session of the Senate. They have the approval of 
the Majority and Minority Leaders.
  Pursuant to rule XXVI, paragraph 5(a), of the Standing Rules of the 
Senate, the following committees are authorized to meet during today's 
session of the Senate:

  The Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry is authorized 
to meet during the session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, 
at 10 a.m., to conduct a hearing.


           COMMITTEE ON COMMERCE, SCIENCE, AND TRANSPORTATION

  The Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation is authorized 
to meet during the session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, 
at 10 a.m., to conduct a hearing.


                     COMMITTEE ON FOREIGN RELATIONS

  The Committee on Foreign Relations is authorized to meet during the 
session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., to 
conduct a business meeting.


                     COMMITTEE ON FOREIGN RELATIONS

  The Committee on Foreign Relations is authorized to meet during the 
session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 2 p.m., to 
continue a business meeting.


          COMMITTEE ON HEALTH, EDUCATION, LABOR, AND PENSIONS

  The Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions is authorized 
to meet during the session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, 
at 10 a.m., to conduct a hearing.


        COMMITTEE ON HOMELAND SECURITY AND GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS

  The Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs is 
authorized to meet during the session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 
8, 2023, at 10 a.m., to conduct a hearing.


                      COMMITTEE ON INDIAN AFFAIRS

  The Committee on Indian Affairs is authorized to meet during the 
session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 2:30 p.m., to 
conduct a hearing.


            COMMITTEE ON SMALL BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

  The Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship is authorized to 
meet during the session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 
2:30 p.m., to conduct a hearing on a nomination.


                     COMMITTEE ON VETERANS' AFFAIRS

  The Committee on Veterans' Affairs is authorized to meet during the 
session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 10 a.m., to 
conduct a joint hearing.


                     COMMITTEE ON VETERANS' AFFAIRS

  The Committee on Veterans' Affairs is authorized to meet during the 
session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, to conduct a 
business meeting.


                    SELECT COMMITTEE ON INTELLIGENCE

  The Select Committee on Intelligence is authorized to meet during the 
session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 10 a.m., to 
conduct an open hearing.


                    SELECT COMMITTEE ON INTELLIGENCE

  The Select Committee on Intelligence is authorized to meet during the 
session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 12 p.m., to 
conduct a closed hearing.


                     JOINT COMMITTEE ON THE LIBRARY

  The Joint Committee on the Library is authorized to meet during the 
session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 2:30 p.m., to 
conduct an organizational meeting.


                      JOINT COMMITTEE ON PRINTING

  The Joint Committee on Printing is authorized to meet during the 
session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 2:35 p.m., to 
conduct an organizational meeting.


   SUBCOMMITTEE ON HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION, AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

  The Subcommittee on Housing, Transportation, and Community 
Development of the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs is 
authorized to meet during the session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 
8, 2023, at 2:30 p.m., to conduct a hybrid hearing.


       SUBCOMMITTEE ON NEAR EAST, SOUTH ASIA, CENTRAL ASIA, AND 
                            COUNTERTERRORISM

  The Subcommittee on Near East, South Asia, Central Asia, and 
Counterterrorism of the Committee on Foreign Relations is authorized to 
meet during the session of the Senate on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 2 
p.m., to conduct a hearing.


            SUBCOMMITTEE ON PRIVACY, TECHNOLOGY, AND THE LAW

  The Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology, and the Law of the Committee 
on the Judiciary is authorized to meet during the session of the Senate 
on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 2 p.m., to conduct a hearing.
