    ELECTING MEMBERS TO CERTAIN STANDING COMMITTEES OF THE HOUSE OF 
                            REPRESENTATIVES

  Ms. STEFANIK. Madam Speaker, by direction of the House Republican 
Conference, I send to the desk a privileged resolution and ask for its 
immediate consideration.
  The Clerk read the resolution, as follows:

                              H. Res. 179

       Resolved, That the following named Members be, and are 
     hereby, elected to the following standing committees of the 
     House of Representatives:
       Committee on Agriculture: Mr. Bost (to rank immediately 
     after Mr. Bacon).
       Committee on Science, Space, and Technology: Mr. 
     Fleischmann (to rank immediately after Mr. Obernolte), Mr. 
     Zinke (to rank immediately after Ms. Tenney).

  Ms. STEFANIK (during the reading). Madam Speaker, I ask unanimous 
consent to dispense with the reading.
  The SPEAKER pro tempore. Is there objection to the request of the 
gentlewoman from New York?
  There was no objection.
  The resolution was agreed to.
  A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
