ORDERS FOR FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2023, THROUGH MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2023
Mr. CARDIN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the
Senate completes its business today, it stand adjourned to convene for
pro forma sessions with no business being conducted on the following
dates and times: Friday, February 17, at 10 a.m.; Tuesday, February 21,
at 11 a.m.; Thursday, February 23, at 9:30 a.m.; further, that when the
Senate adjourns on Thursday, February 23, it next convene at 3 p.m. on
Monday, February 27; that following the prayer and pledge, the morning
hour be deemed expired, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date,
the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the
day, and Senator Lankford be recognized to deliver Washington's
Farewell Address, as provided under the previous order; that following
his remarks, morning business be closed and the Senate proceed to
executive session to resume consideration of the Walker nomination; and
that the cloture motion filed during today's session ripen at 5:30 p.m.
