COMMENDING THE BRAVERY, COURAGE, AND RESOLVE OF THE WOMEN AND MEN OF
IRAN DEMONSTRATING IN MORE THAN 133 CITIES AND RISKING THEIR SAFETY TO
SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE IRANIAN REGIME'S HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to clause 8 of rule XX, the
unfinished business is the vote on the motion to suspend the rules and
agree to the concurrent resolution (H. Con. Res. 7) commending the
bravery, courage, and resolve of the women and men of Iran
demonstrating in more than 133 cities and risking their safety to speak
out against the Iranian regime's human rights abuses, as amended, on
which the yeas and nays were ordered.
The Clerk read the title of the concurrent resolution.
The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the
gentlewoman from New York (Ms. Tenney) that the House suspend the rules
and agree to the concurrent resolution, as amended.
This is a 5-minute vote.

the concurrent resolution, as amended, was agreed to.
The result of the vote was announced as above recorded.
The title of the concurrent resolution was amended so as to read: ``A
concurrent resolution condemning the Iranian regime's human rights
abuses against the brave women and men of Iran peacefully demonstrating
in more than 133 cities.''.
A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
