 POSTHUMOUSLY AWARDING THE CONGRESSIONAL GOLD MEDAL, COLLECTIVELY, TO 
   GLEN DOHERTY, TYRONE WOODS, J. CHRISTOPHER STEVENS, AND SEAN SMITH

  Mr. CARDIN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Committee 
on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs be discharged and the Senate 
proceed to the immediate consideration of H.R. 310.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the bill by title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 310) to posthumously award the Congressional 
     Gold Medal, collectively, to Glen Doherty, Tyrone Woods, J. 
     Christopher Stevens, and Sean Smith, in recognition of their 
     contributions to the Nation.

  There being no objection, the committee was discharged, and the 
Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
  Mr. CARDIN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the bill be 
considered read a third time and passed and that the motion to 
reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
