   RECOGNIZING THE SERIOUSNESS OF MYOTONIC DYSTROPHY AND EXPRESSING 
 SUPPORT FOR THE DESIGNATION OF SEPTEMBER 15, 2022, AS ``INTERNATIONAL 
                   MYOTONIC DYSTROPHY AWARENESS DAY''

  Mr. SCHUMER. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the 
Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions be discharged from 
further consideration and the Senate now proceed to S. Res. 772.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 772) recognizing the seriousness of 
     myotonic dystrophy and expressing support for the designation 
     of September 15, 2022, as ``International Myotonic Dystrophy 
     Awareness Day''.

  There being no objection, the committee was discharged, and the 
Senate proceeded to consider the resolution.
  Mr. SCHUMER. I ask unanimous consent that the resolution be agreed 
to, the preamble be agreed to, and the motions to reconsider be 
considered made and laid upon table.
