  Ms. WARREN. Madam President, had there been a recorded vote, I would 
have voted no on the confirmation of Executive Calendar No. 1105, 
Carrin F. Patman, of Texas, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and 
Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of 
Iceland.
  Mr. President, had there been a recorded vote, I would have voted no 
on the confirmation of Executive Calendar No. 812, Douglas T. Hickey, 
of Idaho, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the 
United States of America to the Republic of Finland.
  Mr. President, had there been a recorded vote, I would have voted no 
on the confirmation of Executive Calendar No. 785, Randi Charno Levine, 
of New York, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the 
United States of America to the Portuguese Republic.
  Mr. President, had there been a recorded vote, I would have voted no 
on the confirmation of Executive Calendar No. 979, Margaret C. Whitman, 
of Colorado, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the 
United States of America to the Republic of Kenya.
