 EXTENDING BY 19 DAYS THE AUTHORIZATION FOR THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR 
                 THE DOMESTIC TRAFFICKING VICTIMS' FUND

  Mr. SCHUMER. Madam President, as in legislative session, I ask 
unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to the immediate 
consideration of S. 4785, which was introduced earlier today.
  The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. The clerk will report the bill by 
title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (S. 4785) to extend by 19 days the authorization for 
     the special assessment for the Domestic Trafficking Victims' 
     Fund.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
  Mr. SCHUMER. I further ask that the bill be considered read three 
times and passed and the motion to reconsider be considered made and 
laid upon the table with no intervening action or debate.

was read the third time, and passed, as follows:

     SECTION 1. EXTENSION OF AUTHORIZATION FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENT 
                   FOR DOMESTIC TRAFFICKING VICTIMS' FUND.

       Section 3014(a) of title 18, United States Code, is 
     amended, in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking 
     ``September 11'' and inserting ``September 30''.
