  The PRESIDING OFFICER (Mr. Van Hollen). Under the previous order, the 
Senate will proceed to executive session to consider the following 
nomination, which the clerk will report.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read the nomination of Roopali 
H. Desai, of Arizona, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth 
Circuit.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. All time is yielded back.
  The question is, Will the Senate advise and consent to the Desai 
nomination?
